Sustainability
& Community
We recognise the impact we make on the planet and within our community, that’s why Oatlands Park Hotel is committed to ensuring that we operate in a sustainable way to make a positive difference.
Our Commitment
Sustainable practises
Our location is surrounded by breathtaking Surrey countryside and is one that we want to protect. We consider sustainable practices and solutions wherever we can.
Our Commitment
In our community
Originally the site of a Tudor Palace commissioned by Henry VIII in 1538, Oatlands Park Hotel was first established as a hotel in 1856. The Oatlands Estate is an incredible piece of British history and culture which we want to conserve for future generations.
Our Commitment
Sustainable meetings & events
With 144 bedrooms 12 event spaces and a venue capacity of up to 420, we are aware of the carbon footprint that our hotel and conference venue can have on the environment.
OUR COMMITMENT
Becoming a greener hotel
We are actively working towards a more sustainable future and we have ‘green goals’ in place to show our commitment. We’re working with Greengage ECO Smart and hospitality industry experts to review our sustainable practices and implement new initiatives.
Our History
The Oatlands estate has played host to many Emperors and Earls, Dukes and Duchesses throughout the centuries. The hotel you see today was built at the turn of the 18th century.
