We’re open! We can’t wait to see you!
We’re open! Monday 6th July 2020 marked the official day that reopened our doors here at Oatlands Park Hotel, and it has been a busy week so far as we have welcomed back our first guests.
July 6th has also marked some famous Royal celebrations throughout history, as both Richard the Lionheart and Richard 111 were crowned on this date, which heralded new beginnings for the country. It is therefore appropriate, that our historic hotel, the country home of Henry V111, should also reopen on this date.
While we are delighted to be reopened, we also realise that it has been a long wait. Our doors have been temporarily closed for nearly three months now since the first guidance was given from the UK Government at the start of lockdown and when Covid-19 was at its peak. We also appreciate the extraordinary and challenging times we have all faced during these past few months and would like to say a HUGE thank you to our incredible team, our community and our guests for supporting us.
Right now, we are just delighted to be open and returning to some sense of normality. This has been new territory for us, and our first priority is to keep everyone safe, that’s you our guests, but also our team. We want to reassure you of the new hygiene and safety measures we’ve implemented at the hotel to keep everyone Covid-19 Secure.
From one-way directional signage to contactless payments and offering table service to hand sanitiser stations, we know things might look a little different, however, rest assured our luxury four-star service is still the same that you are used to at Oatlands Park Hotel.
So far, everything has gone well and we have received some wonderful feedback from our guests. Some of our guests have even gone to the trouble of leaving us messages and drawings on our Room Service paper trays…
Such positive messages!
Even some impressive artwork of a rainbow and a unicorn!
We love seeing and hearing our guests’ feedback, so next time you stay with us, why not leave us a message on our Room Service paper tray covers? Or there’s always TripAdvisor of course!
Breakaway from the recent restrictions and enjoy a summer staycation.
Our historic hotel and 10-acre gardens in the Surrey countryside is the perfect place to escape and unwind now that you are able to. Our beautifully refurbished bedrooms start from only £76 per room, per night and if you stay for 2-nights over the weekend, breakfast is on us!
