Valentine’s Day cocktail recipe

Valentine’s Day 2021 is a little different this year, with the national lockdown, our doors are still temporarily closed and our usual sell-out Valentine’s dinner and Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea can’t take place. So instead, we’re sharing the love in a different way… in fact, we’re sharing our secret recipe for our Valentine’s Day cocktail that you can recreate at home.

Our delicious Raspberry flirtini cocktail recipe uses just 6 simple ingredients that many of you might already have at home, or that you can add to your regular supermarket shop. We hope you will enjoy this cocktail recipe as a Valentine’s Day treat at home. We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back to Bar 1509 here at Oatlands Park Hotel. Valentine’s Day cocktail – Rasberry flirtini cocktail recipe

What you’ll need (makes 1 cocktail:
  • 45ml vodka
  • 20ml Peach Schnapps
  • 45ml Pineapple Juice
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  • A couple of fresh raspberries to garnish
  • Prosecco or Champagne
How to make our Valentine’s Day cocktail

Fill your martini glass with ice to chill it. Add the vodka, Peach Schnapps, pineapple juice and lime juice, and fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Throw away the ice from the martini glass. Strain the cocktail into the glass and top with chilled Champagne or Prosecco. Decorate the top with a couple of fresh raspberries on a cocktail stick.
