Strawberry Delight cocktail recipe
As we approach the May Bank Holiday weekend, our Bar Manager, from Bar 1509, has shared a cocktail recipe for our Strawberry Delight cocktail which you can recreate at home.
“This delicious strawberry cocktail recipe will give you that summer feeling and as the UK starts to enter the strawberry season, it’s a great way to enjoy a fruity cocktail”.
Strawberry delight cocktail recipe
What you’ll need (makes 1 cocktail):
- 4 fresh strawberries, plus ½ a strawberry to garnish
- 50ml dry gin (we use Bombay Sapphire)
- 30ml Strawberry Syrup
- 25ml/1fl oz apple juice
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Soda wate
How to make it:
Add the strawberries, gin, strawberry liqueur, apple juice, and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker and mash with the end of a rolling pin. Place the lid onto the cocktail shaker and shake well. Note: if you don’t have a cocktail shaker you could use a food processor or blender. Strain the mixture using a sieve into a wine glass and top with soda water. Garnish with half a strawberry on the side of the glass – cheers!
