Renovation works

Oatlands Park Hotel is engaged in an extensive renovation program, which will ensure the hotel continues to satisfy the requirements of its corporate and leisure hotel clientele.

The magnificent Oatlands Park Hotel you enjoy today, was built in the middle of the 19th century on the Oatlands Estate and is the jewel in Surrey’s crown. The hotel is currently experiencing one of its most historic moments in 162 years of existence.

An important renovation and restructuring programme, scheduled to last 4 years, began in 2016. Thus far we have carried out a full renovation of 60 rooms, all of our meeting facilities and have made significant improvements to the grounds.

Once completed, a total of 170 rooms will have been completely refurbished with the creation of a new reception/foyer, roof renovations, a newly configured restaurant, brasserie & bar and a new spa, fitness and pool area. The overall accommodation capacity will be similar, but the rooms and suites will be designed to an ultra modern high spec and the number of suites will increase.

The historic hotel façade will remain intact and retained is the character of the listed building and grounds, which are included in the register of gardens and park of special historic interest. Legendary places including the entrance Hall and the Mulberry Restaurant will all remain.

We are working closely with Emma Adams, a local heritage planning expert and SSA Architects to ensure that we exalt the spirit of the hotel, while anchoring the establishment firmly in the 21st century so that the legend may live on.
