As we approach the end of another remarkable year at Oatlands Park Hotel, I am delighted to reflect on the moments, milestones and memories that have shaped 2025 for our guests, our team and our historic property. This year has been one of meaningful progress — not only in enhancing our guest experience, but in strengthening our role as a beloved Surrey landmark treasured by couples, families, business travellers and the local Weybridge community.
From over 60 unforgettable weddings and elegant celebrations, to hundreds of thriving conferences, Afternoon Teas and leisure stays, our mission has remained constant: to deliver exceptional hospitality with warmth, attention to detail and a deep respect for our heritage. I continue to be enormously proud of our team, whose professionalism and passion ensure that every guest experience is both memorable and personal.
Celebrating a Year of Achievement, Community & Sustainability
Sustainability has been a major focus for us this year, and we are extremely proud to have achieved the Greengage Eco-Smart Silver Certification, recognising our continued commitment to responsible hospitality and environmentally conscious operations. From energy efficiency and waste reduction to mindful sourcing and operational improvements, this certification reflects the meaningful steps we continue to take to reduce our environmental impact while enhancing guest comfort.
Community engagement has also been central to our year. We were honoured to donate a weekend stay to Reservations2000 in support of their charity raffle for SANDS, a Middlesex-based charity that supports families affected by stillbirth and neonatal loss. Supporting such an important cause was deeply meaningful to our team, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the fundraiser.
We were also delighted to feature on Brooklands Radio, where one of our colleagues took part in a live on-air audio feature exploring the rich history of our grand hotel. Sharing the stories behind Oatlands Park Hotel — from its royal connections to its place within the local community — was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our heritage with a wider audience.
Our Valentine’s, Easter and Halloween Afternoon Teas proved incredibly popular throughout the year, welcoming families, couples and friends to enjoy seasonal experiences that quickly became guest favourites.
Looking Ahead: Our Vision for the Year to Come
As we look forward to 2026, we are excited to build on the successes of this year. Our focus remains firmly on exceptional service, sustainability and creating memorable guest experiences. We will continue to develop new dining concepts, seasonal events and tailored packages for weddings, weekend escapes and celebrations.
Throughout 2025, Oatlands Park Hotel has proudly maintained an average Google rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars, reflecting the consistently positive feedback from guests across weddings, events, dining and overnight stays. We are also delighted to have received the 2025 AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence, recognising the skill, dedication and creativity of our kitchen team in delivering high-quality dining experiences.
With demand for events and leisure stays continuing to grow, we look forward to welcoming both returning guests and new visitors discovering Oatlands Park Hotel for the very first time.
Please note that the hotel will be temporarily closed from 27th December 2025 until 4th January 2026, allowing our team essential time for rest, maintenance and preparations for the exciting year ahead.
